PAHRD aims at strengthening the knowledge and skills as well as changing the attitudes of middle and top management with a view to improve their efficiency, effectiveness and responsiveness in their job performance. Its role is to act as a catalyst for change in organizations and assist them to achieve and maintain a competitive edge.

Participants are guided on how to follow disciplinary procedures and grievance procedures as stipulated in the Codes of Good Practice. The ultimate goal is to ascertain that rules are observed, standards are maintained, performance is improved, and misunderstandings are reduced. The course further creates an
environment for public officers to raise their complaints and dissatisfaction; to afford the employer an opportunity to handle public officers’ grievances fairly and effectively.
